Due to high demand, the DMV will help as many people as they can up until 3:30pm. After 3:30pm no walk-ins will be accepted. Please be aware that some people may be turned away if the crowd becomes too large. 

Effective May 7, 2025, the federal government requires a REAL ID-compliant document to board a domestic flight.  A standard license will no longer be accepted, only REAL ID or Enhanced Licenses will be accepted.  If you need to update your license, or wish to apply for a REAL ID or ENHANCED ID (see explanation (http://dmv.ny.gov/driver-license/enhanced-or-real-id), the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles will be at the library to help you with this process.

Please bring: current, valid NYS non-driver ID or NYS Driver License; current U.S. Passport or Birth Certificate; original Social Security Card or current tax year W2 or 1099 with full Social Security Number; and two proofs of residence with same street address, such as utility bill and bank statement. These must be original documents.
