Dept. of Assessment staff will assist any homeowner who needs to file for Veterans, Senior Citizen, Volunteer Firefighters/Ambulance Workers, or Limited Income Disability exemption. If not enrolled in the STAR program prior to 1/2/2015 you must apply through NYS at 518-457- 2036 or at https://www8.tax.ny.gov/STRP/strpStart
