NYS Boating Safety Course (IN PERSON)

Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12 at 4:00pm-8:00pm

$50 per person which includes all materials. The class cost is payable on the first evening of class, with cash or Venmo.

The NYS Boating Safety Course is an 8-hour class given over two evenings. You MUST attend both sessions to receive a Safe Boating Certificate. This class certifies anyone 14 years old or older to operate a PWC/Jet Ski in NY State. Capt. Rich Cloonan will cover 15 chapters of material. The class topics include: Boating terms, required Safety Equipment-and how to use it. Navigation, Rules of the Road, boating related activities and more. This class is open to anyone 10 years of age or older at the start of class. If you have any special needs for the class, an IEP, speech, hearing or testing accommodations, please contact the instructor before the start of the class.
